Terms of Service
Version 3.0. As signed 24 September 2026.
These Terms govern your use of the miræ service and app (the “Service”), provided by Mirae Code Labs Ltd (“miræ”, “we”), registered in England and Wales, company number 16598219, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF. By using miræ you agree to them.
1. What miræ is
miræ is an inner intelligence for psychological development. Through structured conversations with an AI, drawing on established methods from psychology and neuroscience, it helps adults understand the patterns that shape how they think, feel and act, and build the capacities to change them. It keeps a personal record of that work and offers short body practices.
miræ is not therapy, a medical device, a clinical assessment tool or a health service, and is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric or psychological care. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor or assess any condition. What it shows you about your patterns is drawn only from your own sessions, is produced by automated analysis and not by a clinician, and is not a basis for any clinical decision. It has not been assessed by any medical device regulator. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for your account and everything done under it, and for keeping your account details accurate and your sign-up email address current.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service unlawfully or abusively, interfere with it or its systems, reverse-engineer it, share your account, or upload content that infringes anyone's rights. We may suspend or end your access if you do.
4. Subscriptions
Access is by subscription at the price shown when you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your account settings, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Through the App Store, Apple takes the payment and Apple's refund process applies. Through miræ.com, Stripe, Inc. takes the payment and Mirae Code Labs Ltd is the merchant of record; prices in pounds include UK VAT, prices in US dollars are before state sales tax added at checkout; you may have a full refund within fourteen days of your first payment by emailing contact@miraecodelabs.com. A subscription bought either way gives one entitlement, and you are never charged twice for the same period.
5. Your content and ours
You own what you create in miræ. You give us a licence to process it only to run the Service for you, under our Privacy Policy. We will not use your content to train models without your separate, specific consent. The Service, its software, methods and materials are ours or our licensors', and these Terms give you no rights in them beyond use of the Service.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and forms part of these Terms.
7. Liability
The Service is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including any reliance on what miræ shows you as an indicator of your psychological health, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose and £50 (US$50 in the United States). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the law of England and Wales or, in the United States, any right under your state's law that cannot be waived.
To the extent the law that applies to you allows, you will indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.
8. Changes and ending
We may change the Service, and these Terms, and will tell you in the app or by email before a material change takes effect; continued use after that is acceptance. You may delete your account at any time. We may end your access for breach of these Terms or where the law requires. Sections 1, 5, 7 and 9 survive.
9. Law, disputes and notices
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, for every user. If you are a consumer in the United States, nothing here removes any right your state's law gives you that cannot be waived; there is no arbitration requirement and no class-action waiver. If you have a complaint, write to contact@miraecodelabs.com first.
The email address you give at sign-up is our primary way of giving you notice, including any notice the law requires, for example under the US FTC Health Breach Notification Rule; a notice sent there counts as written notice unless the law requires another method.
